I busked at Canary Wharf this afternoon. I arrived to start at 1pm but there was another busker already on the pitch. She was a very lovely lady playing the saxophone. I went to have some lunch from M&S opposite Black Sheep Coffee and waited for my set.
When I went over to start setting up I had a lovely chat with the saxophonist and exchanged details. She even came to film me when I started my set at 2pm.
Lots of people were again smiling, taking photos/videos etc and then about half way through I had a lovely surprise. A couple that I played music for their wedding a few years ago came to see me with their 2 year old son! He was so cute and enjoyed my music too! It was lovely to catch up with them after all this time. I always love to catch up with fans, it always makes my day!
I had a great session and luckily no interruptions this time from the two homeless men that bothered me previously. I spoke to the station office and explained what happened before and they said those men shouldn't be back again.
All in all today was a success!
