Brrrrr! It was a chilly one this evening at Leicester Square Underground! It started off not too cold but half way through the set I was freezing, as the cold air was travelling from outside and down the escalators by the pitch.
I was playing from 6-8pm and it was very very busy! It was going well until half way through I had to call the emergency button next to me. A group of girls were hitting and throwing their shopping at a man and saying fowl language at him. Basically a fight broke out right at the bottom of the escalator and was causing a pile up of people and people to injure themselves. The station staff heard my call and came down to sort it out. One of the station staff was rude to me though and told me to turn my music down in an aggressive tone.
After this issue was resolved I was able to continue my set. Many people were taking photos/filming me and smiling at me this evening too!
