I felt like I was playing to a mini Wembley stadium this evening at Piccadilly Circus Underground from 6-8pm. This pitch was very fun to play! I had people from both sides of me going up and down the escalators. It just gave me a stadium vibe when performing this evening, as crowds of people were watching in front of me on the escalators. At one point a few people were putting the lights on their phones and swinging their arms at me. It was a very cool moment!
People were cheering, clapping, tipping and everyone seemed to be in good spirits! It was lovely to have people also dancing and singing back the lyrics to some of the songs like ‘Jolene!’ and ‘Yellow!’
I also had many people photographing and filming me.
I definitely want to busk here again when I can book it!
