Tonight was a busy evening in Oxford Circus Underground station from 6-8pm. A lot of people were going past but there were a mixed bag of reactions. I felt like a jar of marmite, some people loved my set, whilst others put their fingers in their ears when passing me.
It was a struggle to get tips this evening, even though there was a steady flow of people. I tried every thing I could, adjusting the volume of my amp, angling the amp in different positions to create less reverb, tried slower songs, more upbeat songs, my own songs, covers etc but it was hard to get people engaged this evening.
After my set I went to McDonald's for a well deserved cup of tea!
