Tonight was another exciting busking session! After all these years busking I have never been able to book this slot at Tottenham Court Road (the central line one!) I finally was able to play it today as it was available from 6-8pm.
It was fun but also a bit challenging though. It felt at one point like I was singing in a bathroom! Where the pitch is located it is right near the end of the tunnel and my sound from the amp reverberates a lot of the tunnel tiles and it becomes very hard to control the volume. After much trial and error it took most of the set to find the right volume balance.
A lot of people also were filming me and I had a man from Japan who wanted a photo with me too. I always love taking photos with fans, it makes my day always!
Again people enjoyed my song ‘In this city,' ‘The Songwriter’ and my newish song called ‘Sardinian Smile.’
It was quite hard to get tips here, but I will try again and give it another go now I know roughly what level to set my volume on my amp, at this pitch!
