10/11/24 - Two drunk happy dancing men and another pug on the loose!

I arrived at Euston underground station a bit earlier today. My set was supposed to be 6-8pm, but I ended up playing from 5-8pm.

Euston was as usual very very busy, lots of people passing in front and also to my sides, as the pitch was in the middle between the two platforms.

It was a slow start money wise, but eventually the pounds starting arriving in my box and tips were made on my card machine! Lots of smiley people this evening passing me by, which was lovely to see.

I also had two very happy, drunk men who decided to sing along with me to ‘Yellow,’ and they gave me an unexpected hug and a £10 note. It didn't bother me, as it was in jest and I think they were enjoying the music, as they were also dancing a lot and trying to get people to tip me!

What made my evening was seeing another pug dog though! The owner came up to tip me and the pug came up too, and looked very happy to see me, with his tongue out. The man noticed my pug sticker on my guitar and acknowledged it too with a wink.

After the busking set I worked up such an appetite that I quickly bought a ham and cheese baguette in Euston Network Rail station. It finished off the session nicely haha!
