Let's start this blog entry today by saying that South Kensington Underground is the Queen of reverb in the tunnel! I played a two hour set of 99% originals and the odd cover here or there. It was nice to be back in that spot, as I haven't been there since pre-covid!
However, the vibe was very off this evening! My IZettle card reader decided to refund two people, so I lost money due to the internet signal. I thought I would try the IZettle card reader at this pitch, but next time I will stick to the old fashioned way of putting a box down for tips. Also I felt like a ghost this evening. Let's say tonight was the smallest amount of tips I've ever made busking! No idea why as everyone was enjoying my set going past.
On the positive side I practiced my new songs and did have a lot of smiles, thumbs up and well dones. The only way is up for the next busking session. Looking forward to it! 😊
